-The student will be able to differentiate between a push or a pull to require an object to do work
-The student will use a variety of available materials to build a house that withstands simulated wind (blowing, blow dryer, fan)
-The student will be able to compare simulated wind to an actual physical push
-The student will be able to analyze their structure and decide how they would change it to make it withstand larger pushes
The students will build a structure out of provided supplies that will withstand 3 strengths of blows. They will then discuss why theirs stayed standing or didn’t stay standing.
